Tata Group subsidiary Air India Express will launch its direct flights from Kolkata to Imphal and Kochi in April. All these flights of the airline will be daily for Imphal and six days a week for Kochi. An airline official said in a statement issued on Monday that these new flights of Air India Express will operate daily to Imphal and six days a week to Kochi. According to the company, the flight from Kolkata to Imphal will take off at 7 am and will reach Imphal, the capital of Manipur, at 8:05 am. He said the return flight would depart at 8:35 am and reach Kolkata at 10:20 am. Air India Express flight from Kolkata to Kochi will depart at 11:25 AM and the return flight will depart at 3:05 PM. The company said that through route integration the airline will operate more flights on several domestic routes. It is noteworthy that Air India Express is India's first international airline service.
