Ludhiana - Harviraj Singh, a 19-year-old skeet shooter from Ludhiana, Punjab, has been selected for the Indian Junior Shooting Team for two prestigious international competitions. He will represent India at the ISSF Junior World Cup to be held in Cairo in April, followed by the ISSF Junior World Championship scheduled in Suhl, Germany, in June this year. Harviraj’s selection comes after a series of outstanding performances at the national level. He clinched the Youth National Champion title at the 68th National Shooting Championships held in December 2025 at New Delhi. Continuing his strong form, he won a bronze medal in the Junior category at the 4th Digvijay Shooting Competition held in Bhopal in January 2026. He further strengthened his claim with a dominant victory in the Junior category finals at the Indian Team Trials-2, conducted in New Delhi in January. Pass out from Sat Paul Mittal School, Har Viraj Singh who is pursuing graduation from SCD Government College, Ludhiana gave credit for his achievement and success to his coach Olympian Mairaj Ahmad khan, Sat Paul Mittal School Principal Bhupinder Gogia and Principal SCD govt college Gursharan Singh Sandhu. His consistent performances reflect his dedication and mark him as a promising talent in Indian shooting.
