on the occasion of World H.I.V AIDS Day 2025, the District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU), in collaboration with Dr. Kotnis Acupuncture Hospital, Salem Tabri, organized an awareness rally against H.I.V AIDS and drug abuse. MLA Chaudhary Madan Lal Bagga attended the event as the chief guest. On this occasion, Dr. Amit Chawla, Incharge of the AIDS Prevention Unit Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Director of Dr. Kotnis Acupuncture Hospital Manish Singh (CPO) from Punjab State AIDS Control Society and Jaswant Singh Chhapa, President of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, Ludhiana, were specially present. Eight non-governmental organizations participated in the rally. Addressing the rally, MLA Madan Lal Bagga said that the government stands firmly with the people and the organizations involved in the fight against H.I.V AIDS and drug abuse. He stated that continuous efforts are being made in Punjab, especially in Ludhiana, to save people from these diseases and drugs, and significant achievements have been made. On this occasion, Dr. Inderjeet Singh mentioned that their organization has been working for the past 50 years to protect people from drugs and H.I.V. More than 130 people took part in the rally, which passed through Salem Tabri, Peeru Banda, and Jalandhar Bypass to spread awareness about H.I.V AIDS and drug abuse. Upinder Singh, Satwinder Kaur, Harmanpreet Singh, Reena Kalyan, Manisha, Gagan Bhatia, Seema Sharma, Lucky Jeetu, Dr. Raghubir Singh, and Dr. Baljinder Dhillon from the T Project Ludhiana were also present on this occasion.
