Green Land Senior Secondary Public School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm, pride and patriotic spirit in the school premises. The celebration began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by the President of the Trust, Dr. Shabad Rudhra, along with the Director Dr. Vijayata Rudhra, the Principal, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, staff and the students of the school. The Tricolour fluttered majestically as the gathering paid homage to the nation, filling the atmosphere with reverence and national pride. The occasion was marked by a vibrant cultural programme that reflected the values of unity, integrity and respect for the Constitution of India. The celebration commenced with melodious patriotic songs presented by the Junior School Choir, whose soulful rendition filled the atmosphere with national pride. This was followed by a powerful performance by the Senior School Choir, which beautifully echoed the spirit of sacrifice and devotion towards the nation. The programme further came alive with energetic and graceful dance performances on patriotic themes, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired. Dr Rajesh Rudhra ,the Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools emphasized that Republic Day reminds every citizen, especially the young generation, of their duties towards the nation. He encouraged students to uphold constitutional values, discipline, honesty and unity in their daily lives and to contribute positively towards building a strong and progressive India. Dr. Shabad Rudhra, the President of the Trust, while addressing the students amp teachers on Republic Day, said that Republic Day is not merely about hoisting the national flag, but about realizing our duties and responsibilities towards the nation. He emphasized that teachers and mothers play the most crucial role in shaping a strong and progressive nation. Behind every successful individual stands the guidance, values and inspiration of dedicated teachers and caring parents. He urged everyone to strive for excellence, lead by example and inspire the future generations to come, thereby contributing to the greatness of the nation. The Principal Mrs Baldeep Pandher of the School, in her address, reminded the students that Republic Day is not just a celebration, but a reminder of the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity enshrined in our Constitution. She urged students to understand their rights along with their responsibilities and to always stand for truth, discipline and respect.
