Gulzar Group of Institutes celebrated the Republic Day with full enthusiasm. Active participation was seen of the students, which gave a glimpse of their patriotic fervor towards the country. GGI Chairman Gurcharan Singh was chief Guest at this occasion. To mark the importance of this day, the Institute echoed with patriotic fervor as the function began with the singing of the national anthem, followed by the NCC parade. Cultural programs, including a patriotic poem, dance and group songs, were presented by NCC Cadets. Cadets were felicitated with Certificates and Medals during the ceremony. While paying tributes to the freedom fighters and others whose sacrifices have brought us freedom, Chairman Gurcharan Singh said everyone should follow the path of our freedom fighters. He called upon people not to rejoice, but rather should try to understand whether they had been able to achieve the goals of the Independence as envisaged by freedom fighters. He added that the sacrifices of the brave Indians during the course of the national movement for freedom had given us fundamental rights and duties for all citizens of India. We should follow them side by side. He later advised the students to learn and imbibe the qualities which the NCC is striving to impart to its cadets. According to him it is important for the welfare of the country that youth should realize that the future is in their hands.

Republic Day Celebrations At Gulzar Group Of Institutes
