Innocent Hearts Eye Center has marked a significant milestone in the field of advanced ophthalmology with Dr. Rohan Bowry (M.B.B.S., M.S. Ophthalmology, F.P.R.S.), Eye Specialist and Deputy Director ndash Health Services, Innocent Hearts, emerging as one of the youngest eye surgeons in the region to perform a deferred live refractive surgery at a prestigious national platform. The deferred live surgery, titled ldquoPress Beyondrdquo, was performed a day prior and later showcased for live academic viewing, enabling doctors to observe the surgical technique, clinical decision-making, and outcomes in detail while ensuring complete patient safety. Dr.Rohan Bowry successfully performed the surgery using advanced laser technology, correcting vision and eliminating the need for both near and distance spectacles. The procedure was carried out using the state-of-the-art VisuMax 800 and MEL 90 laser systems, making Innocent Hearts Eye Center the first center in Punjab to be equipped with this advanced technology.The surgery was presented at Netradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Bengaluru, and was witnessed by an audience of over 1,500 ophthalmologists and eye surgeons from across the country. This remarkable achievement has positioned Dr. Rohan among the youngest surgeons in the region to perform and present such an advanced refractive procedure on a national stage. This accomplishment highlights Dr. Rohan Bowryrsquos clinical expertise and innovative approach, while reaffirming Innocent Hearts Eye Centerrsquos commitment to delivering world-class eye care and introducing cutting-edge ophthalmic technology for the benefit of patients and the medical fraternity alike.
