Harjot Singh Bains today hailed the launch of the state#39s largest-ever crackdown on gangsters and anti-social elements with lsquoOperation Praharrsquo. The operation signifies Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Governmentrsquos zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, gangsterism and organised crime. The battle for Punjab#39s soul and security has been joined under the decisive leadership of CM Mann,quot S Harjot Singh Bains said while adding that the Punjab Police has launched an unprecedented operation with 2,000 teams comprising over 12,000 police personnel targeting gangsters. The entire force is mobilised to wipeout the gangsters from the Punjab. Saluting the courage and commitment of the Punjab Police, S. Bains said that 72-hour operation, which began late last night, a coordinated assault. The Chief Minister Mann is personally and closely monitoring every development. This is not a routine action it is a declaration of war against the enemies of public order.
